At Evowall, we are working to revolutionize sustainable construction. This March, we began assembling the industrialized EvoWall system for the “La Termal” project, a positive energy building in La Garriga. The construction, carried out by ROIG Construccions, has already completed the basement phase. Thanks to our industrialized system, the building will be standing in under a year, significantly reducing traditional construction timelines. 

Efficiency and precision in record time
Our industrialized system allows us to transform a process that could take up to fifteen months into efficient and precise execution in less than a year. This success is made possible by careful planning that saves time without sacrificing construction quality. As a result, we shorten the overall timeline and reduce the environmental impact.

A pioneering project in sustainable construction
“La Termal” is one of the most innovative sustainable housing projects in Europe. It is part of the European REN+HOMES program which promotes positive energy buildings. This building will not only consume less energy but will generate more than it uses, positioning itself as a benchmark for sustainability.

It is the only new-build project in Spain selected by REN+HOMES a fact that demonstrates how industrialization and digitalization can transform the way we build in Europe.

Digital transformation in construction
At Evowall, we don’t just build, we also digitalize the entire process. We use Tekla to model the steel structure integrated into our panels, and Revit for the design of the building envelope and components. This allows us to calculate materials and details to the millimeter, including provisions for installations and finishes that are executed directly at the factory. This approach ensures perfect fit and flawless execution.

Industrialization: from design to constructiona
While the basement was being built, we were manufacturing custom-made Evowall panels. These panels include industrialized components such as:

• Roller shutter boxes and guides.
• Perimeter trims for openings.
• Insulation and structure for the ventilated façade.
• Insulation for the ETICS system.
• Insulation, waterproofing, and primary battens for pitched roofs.
• Stair ramps.

This industrialized process allows us to drastically reduce construction time while ensuring efficiency and quality. Additionally, logistics are meticulously planned to guarantee a fast and seamless installation.

A step forward toward sustainability
“La Termal” positions La Garriga as a model of sustainability. The building will be certified Passivhaus Plus, guaranteeing superior energy efficiency. Thanks to our technology, we are moving toward a more sustainable future and contributing to the decarbonization of the construction sector.
